Im using WiFi, though that should not change anything as my Mac address should not leave the router unless the program im using grabs it (Which is what is happening in this case) This is something i have to block locally, nothing can be done remotely. Secondlife is installed via the AUR, its just a client, not a server. If all of that fails, stop playing games that collect completely unnecessary identifying information. In both cases, remove the configuration files, change your IP if you have a dynamic IP, then restart the game. If it still detects your real MAC address after running "macchanger -br." on all of your interface devices then either the address has been saved remotely or locally. You have not made it clear how your are connecting to the servers either (wifi? cable?) nor do I know if it runs a local server on your system.
